Earlier this week I started a new blog: billydecola.com - this post will explain why I started it and hopefully will allow me to get back on track - read more to find out what I mean.
When I started my first blog tune-in-tokyo.com, a few years ago, it was intended to be a blog about Japan and everything Tokyo including tattoos, martial arts, food, nightlife, shopping, fashion, music… you get the idea. Then something happened - I decided I wanted a personal outlet and before I knew it tune-in-tokyo lost its direction. Instead of posting about topics like Halloween in Tokyo I found myself posting about random topics like the Vancouver Winter Olympics 2010 Protest and Traditional Rose Tattoos. Sure these are interesting topics but they just don’t have a place on the Tokyo blog.
So to sort things out I’ve decided to get back to the original plan and blog about Japanese related topics on Tune-In-Tokyo… and all of my personal blog posts will now be posted here on billydecola.com
