I went to the Shooto MMA event in Tokyo with the 5DMKII / 70-200mm f/2.8 IS and 2x extender. I sat up high to get a better angle of the action (plus I didn’t have a press pass) and I was pretty impressed with performance of the gear.
I was curious to know what type of gear the ringside photographers were using. I see this white guy at every MMA event and I’ve been wondering what kind of gear he uses.
Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L USM = sweet piece of glass. I’ve heard this lens is the best out there and I’ve seen lots of busy photogs using it. I think I’ve made up my mind and I’m gonna finally pull the trigger on it.
